1. This Work From Home Checklist will not do a thing for you unless you CHOOSE YOUR BUSINESS FIRST !

2. Research, Research, Research! HOW will you get paid? WILL it be enough? HOW will your customer/client receive the product or service?

3. Examine your surroundings. Do you have enough space for a home office? Do you have the proper equipment? Can you afford the proper equipment?

4. How many hours a day do you need to work for the income needed?

5. Are you able to perform your job with interruptions during the day from family members, pets, household chores, and still be productive?

6. Have you taken the time to perform a Dry Run Sunday, or if you have Toddlers, a Dry run week to see if you can truly be productive at home?

7. Did you use a stop-watch to determine exactly how much time you are able to devote to your work while caring for family members? This must be done for every question asked of you, every meal prepared, shoe tied, mess wiped up, etc.

8. Have you saved enough money to sustain your needs until your business grows into the profitable entity desired? If not, go back to #2.

9. If you have a spouse to consider? Are they supportive? Do they respect that you will be truly working while at home? Will they still share in household chores?

10. It is IMPORTANT to take some paper or notebook and start your own list! My checklist would not look quite the same as yours. Make several lists if necessary. Be honest with yourself, and create your own Work From Home Checklist!
